This guide uses testnet. Make sure your daemon is running with --testnet and your wallet is connected to it.
Check your balance
On a fresh testnet wallet, your balance is 0. You need testnet XFG to proceed — ask in the Fuego community channels for testnet funds.

Or use an alias if the recipient has registered one:
The wallet outputs a transaction ID. Copy it — you can use it to verify the transaction.
Verify the transaction
Look for "in_pool": false to confirm the transaction was included in a block.
Check incoming transactions
Ring signatures mean the sender is hidden from observers. From the recipient’s perspective, incoming XFG appears as an output to their one-time key.
Transactions require a few block confirmations before the balance becomes spendable. On testnet this takes seconds; on mainnet, minutes.
