HEAT is Fuego’s native flatcoin: a colored / commitment-style asset intended to preserve purchasing power (peg reference HEAT_PEG_USD = 1.58, with CPI-adjustment design path). It is not a freezable USD stablecoin issuer product, and it is not minted by locking XFG into a “CD.”

How HEAT is created (current)

  1. You hold XFG.
  2. You call mintHeatV10() (wallet) — XFG is burned.
  3. HEAT is minted using Hearth pool TWAP pricing (spot pool rate if TWAP unavailable).
Do not use legacy convertXfgToHeat() (fixed 10M:1 Embers_Heat ratio) for real minting.
